US Gov't proposing "infringement by streaming" be made into a felony

| No biggy, it's just our tax-money |
Wtf Obama? Gotta love how Government's attempt to suppress instead of embrace technology. The US Gov't wants The Department of Homeland Security to share info with US Customs Officials regarding music blogging sites and their domain owners. That's right folks, the same Department that protects us from terrorism (Department of Homeland Security) could be hunting down/spying/wiretapping and entrapping music bloggers. Really?
The streaming-as-a-felony proposal is based on questions as to "whether streaming constitutes the distribution of copyrighted works and/or performance of those works". Will be grilling my Copyright Professor on this asap. I am no expert in this field, but I will say, 99% of the blogs/websites in cyberspace are committing multiple acts of copyright infringement as we speak. It's either us bloggers are all a bunch of criminals or our countries current Copyright Laws are, by and large, not reflective of the technologically driven society we live in. I lean towards the latter.
