I remember trying to get hip hop bloggers to sit down and take a listen to BeN GZ... it was no easy task. And for good reason. Even though BeN GZ makes dope music, there's enough bad hip hop out in the marketplace to make listeners weary of testing out new acts. As such, I feel a sort of responsibility to listen to each and every artist submission I get.
