Foxconn: 1 million workers replaced w/ robots + suicide nets installed

            It saddens me to hear this kinda stuff. Honestly, I bust my ass to keep up TheJourney. I haven't made a penny off this blog, nor do I plan to.  I - like most people -  would like to be well-off at some point in my life. But not at the expense of other human beings though. Rich greedy *sshole's cut corners to maximize profits.
            Foxconn [hardware manufacturer to Apple, Hewlett-Packard, Dell, and Sony] has had a rash of highly publiized worker suicides -- on company property -- in the last 12 months. Atleast 16 workers have taken their life on Foxconn property, including three other suicide attempts. Foxconn's answer to the problem? Just install a couple suicide nets and begin replacing humans with voiceless robots. Say what?
            Foxconn has been accused of forcing long hours upon its laborers with low pay and hazardous working conditions. Foxconn has also recently announced that they will be replacing 1 million + workers with more cost-efficient robots. Atleast the robots can't take their own lives, Foxconn...
