DJ Sweekuh gave TheJourney the greenlight to premiere his latest remix - reworking Mac Miller's Missed Calls by incorporating Skyler Grey's verse off Kaskade's Room For Happiness. What I dig most about DJ Sweekuh's reworking is the obvious-yet-subtle addition of the guitar and bongos samples - of which, DJ Sweekuh laid down himself. A little background on this song: I really love the instrumental used by Mac Miller on this track, but hated what he did to it. So i decided to remake/remix it in a more oldies style track. I play guitar on the verse as well as some bongos through out, sort of a new territory for me on my edm tracks. Also threw in Kaskade's track to lighten up the mood. Basically its a Remix and a Mashup. Enjoy.
