The Richmond, VA emcee releases his latest project, Fractions, today, which also happens to be his birthday. Enjoy the festivities fam. From releasing his last project, Nonfiction, via TheJourney to continuously putting out visuals after visuals, I can honestly say that if every rapper but EQ was to die today, hip hop would be in good hands. Fractions is that rare kind of mixtape that plays more like an album. Support the f*ck outta the birthday boy and show him some love via Facebook.
On September 26th, 2012 I'll be releasing my new album 'Must Be Nice'Help spread the word by telling everybody you knowThe album, which features all original production by myself, was written, recorded and crafted all within the walls of this studio It will be available for free download via PLNDR.com, and for purchase with select digital retailers Pre-order a personally signed copy now at http://shop.G-Eazy.com.
Here are the visuals to my remix of David Guetta x Sia's Titanium. I recut the original video so it synced with mine (and to be honest, I think my remix is better suited for this video).
Latest visuals from Sam Lachow. If you're new to the Seattle born, New York based emcee, make sure to check out his new EP, Avenue Music.
In my humble opinion, 2 Chainz makes awful music. Loud. Annoying. Noise. He is a shining example of why so many old people despise hip hop. But I know how much some of you are feelin' 2 Chainz lately, so here goes his latest visuals with Yeezy.

A day after releasing Thrift Shop, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis unleash the official visuals towards the recession-proof track. Who's doper than Macklemore?
"They be like oh! That Gucci, that’s hella tight.
I’m like Yo! That’s 50 dollars for a t-shirt?
Limited edition, let’s do some simple addition,
50 dollars for a t-shirt, that’s just some ignorant bitch shiiiit.
I call that getting swindled and pimped.
I call that getting tricked by a business." - Macklemore

I am the most prolific thrift shopper in the rap game right now. What Bob Barker is to the Price Is Right, I am to used fringe jackets. My collection is worth anywhere between $70 and a $100,000,000 depending on who’s appraising it. I’m gonna be honest, if it’s me… I’m going with a million. Count the zero’s. That’s how many fur jackets I have. Tell PETA my Mink, Fox, Rabbit, Coyote, and Hungarian Raccoon jacket are ALL dragging on the floor. And I don’t mean that in a disrespectful way. I love my animals. But they’re dead. And they’ve been dead for hella. When I wear them, I’m bringing them back to life and introducing them to a whole new generation who wasn’t around when they were out in the woods doing their thing. Those animals have now migrated from some old lady’s closet, to a thrift shop and are now getting their proper shine, up to 40 years later. It’s recycling. And recycling is beautiful, am I right? That’s what this song is about. – Macklemore
Vonnegutt's front-man Kyle Lucas gave me the heads up earlier today on their new video Going Home. Talib Kweli dropped this new cut off his forthcoming Attack The Block project via tumblr moments ago. Via Talib Kweli:
So I’m starting to get excited about this mix tape I did with the homie Z-Trip, Attack The Block. We will release it one week from today, but I want y’all to be as excited as I am so I am releasing another preview. There was a great response to “To The Music” last week, so I hope y’all enjoy this one as well. Shout out to Jessica Care Moore for the incredible poem at the end. And calling Attack The Block a mere mix tape is not doing it justice. These rappers these days put out anything and call it a mix tape. Not me. Z-Trip is a true master. This is a mix tape you can put on in any situation and let rock. Get ready for cutting, scratching, and thoughtfulness on a mix tape. Attack The Block. 9-12.

Via The xx:
"We filmed this whilst on tour in Tokyo. We were so inspired by Tokyo and the view from Romy's hotel room on the 33rd floor, that we asked our friend Jamie-James Medina to film us recording a version of Angels in there.
Love, The xx"

Renegades Of Jazz remix the Darlington-based jazz and funk combo Weekend Sun's new single You're Good To Me. Via Renegades Of Jazz:
"Renegades of Jazz turn in their best remix to date using Esther’s vocals over a completely new jazz-tinged funk backing that grooves in all the right places. Hero Records’ bosses throw in 3 different mixes, their 90s influenced Distant Hero Remix that takes Esther’s vocal and places it over a sparse, haunting piano groove and their a b-boy reworks that strip Weekend Sun’s original to its bare bones, adding new breaks along the way and placing the emphasis firmly on the funk."
Following the success of Battle Scars in Australia, Lupe's announced earlier today via Twitter that the track is set to be featured on FNL2 and that it's going to be the next single, dropping on Aug. 28th.

While the official unveiling of Nike's new 2012 Oregon Ducks uniforms and helmets is set for August 22nd, here's a sneak peek to hold you over until then. The "liquid metal" helmets we saw in the Rose Bowl are back in two new versions, one sporting an allover green look and another featuring a silver coloring similar to that Rose Bowl lids, but with a carbon fiber-style print. Go Ducks.
